Giles Beach (1888). Originally built by Davis & Ferris (1847).
Current Status: extant, restored. (Last update 2010-03-03.)
This organ received OHS Citation number 10 in 1976.
3 manuals. 4 divisions. 34 stops. 42 ranks. 34 registers. 2084 pipes. 58-note manuals. 25-note pedals.
Slider chests. Mechanical key action. Mechanical stop action.
The organ is in a case at the front of the room.
Traditional style console. Attached keydesk with manuals set into case. Drawknobs in vertical rows on flat jambs. Balanced swell shoes/pedals, not in standard AGO position. Combination Action: Fixed mechanical system. Flat straight pedalboard.

- Updated through on-line information from James R. Stettner. -- Originally a G-compass organ. Converted to C-compass by Levi U. Stuart in 1868. Original Great 4' 2nd Principal later replaced with with an 8' string. This tonal change reversed by Andover Organ Co. with a used Ferris 4' Octave in 1988. 5-sectional facade with 23 gold-painted pipes arranged: 5-3-7-3-5. Drawknobs arranged in cruciform layout on each side of the manuals. (Database Manager. 2007-06-02)
- Updated through on-line information from Stephen Hall. -- Organ is played regularly in series of summer concerts (the village website lists five events featuring the organ in summer 2008). Great forte and piano

Originally built as a GG compass, it was altered to C compass in 1868.

The auditorium has a roof but no walls. The stopknobs have an interesting layout- on either side, they are set out as a cross, a nice visual effect. Has this been done anywhere else?
